Full-Day Nuuksio National Park Tour From Helsinki

Dear Mikko, thank you very much for this unforgettable day in Nuuksio National Park! We had a lot of fun, learned a lot and were rewarded with an idyllic lunch by the campfire. The day flew by and the deserted paths in the untouched nature were unique. We will remember this for a long time. Mikko is the man! I was in Helsinki for work and had just one day to explore nature, so I reached out to Finnish Friend. Mikko took me on a one-day adventure to ski across frozen lakes in Nuuksio National Park, and it was unforgettable. Mikko had thought through every last detail. He picked me up from my hotel, made sure I had the proper gear and clothing, and constantly checked that I was warm and comfortable. In -15°C weather, he built a roaring fire and prepared a fantastic lunch. He even brought along a delicious local Finnish candy bar for me to try as a special treat. When I mentioned that I’d love to visit a local sauna and take an ice dip, he went out of his way to make it happen—even though it wasn’t part of the original tour. Mikko is a wonderful guide. He knows so much about the Finnish landscape, wildlife, and culture, and he genuinely loves sharing his knowledge. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
