These terms and conditions apply when you order a gift voucher for Finnish Friend.

Required for Making a Booking

You must be at least 18 years old.

Order Confirmation

Your order is confirmed after I’ve checked your order details.

Changing Your Order

You can change your order details by contacting me.

Cancellations

You can cancel the gift voucher you’ve ordered by contacting me.

I can cancel the gift voucher if the service can’t be provided because of unpredictable reasons. Possible reasons for cancellations include all force majeure and impossibility conditions.

In case I cancel your gift voucher you’ll receive email notification.

If you’ve paid the gift voucher in advance and I cancel it, your payment will be returned. You can ask for gift voucher cancellation and payment refund by contacting me.

Prices

Gift voucher prices are the same as the current regular prices for hikes and courses.

Payment

Payment for the gift voucher has to be done in the week leading to the date the gift voucher is going to be used.

Payment is done via link sent to your email a week before the chosen tour date. Payment method through the link is credit or debit card.

Using Gift Voucher Code

When someone books a tour using your gift vouchers code, you become liable to pay for the booked service.

You’ll be notified of the initials of the person who made a booking with your gift voucher in the payment link email.

Unused Gift Voucher and Payment Refund

In case your gift voucher code has been used during booking, you’ve paid for the gift voucher, and then the booking is cancelled and not rebooked within a year, you can ask for refund.

Contact me for refund. I’ll refund you within 30 days of your request.

Applicable Law

All actions are governed by the Finnish law. Disputes will be attempted to resolve through negotiation, but if failed, they will be settled by the Helsinki District Court.
