Our family of five had the most wonderful day with Mikko in Nuuksio National Park - thank you Mikko for a unique experience in a spectacular setting! From the outset, Mikko was extremely helpful and communicative. He provided us with detailed information ahead of the trip and made everything feel relaxed and straightforward; collecting us from outside our accommodation and supplying us with all the gear we needed for our hike on a snowy day. This approach set the theme for the whole trip - Mikko was the perfect guide. He was informative throughout, sharing fascinating facts about the local area and answering our broader questions, and allowing us to set our own pace and decide aspects of the route. The Park was stunningly beautiful and we visited on a clear, sunny day, with the landscape covered in a thick layer of fresh, powdery snow. However, the experience was enhanced by Mikko’s thoughtful planning and guidance. Highlights included chopping wood for our campfire lunch, playing in the snow on the frozen lakes and our children sledging down snowy slopes thanks to the loan of Mikko’s seating pads! Mikko’s tour was the highlight of our trip to Helsinki - we would say that it’s a must for anybody visiting the area!
